"Maybe it was because it was a Wednesday but the performer was disorganised and the burlesque girl didn't seem that into it either. We thought it was quiet and for the price it really wasn't worth it. Although the cocktails were great!"

"An excellent night, celebrating my husband's 40th. The food was delicious and the entertainment was first class. The bar staff couldn't have been more professional and they made the most delicious cocktails. we would definitely go again."

"This was such a disappointing night for us! Myself, my husband and 7 of our friends were soo excited for our evening at Volupte and wow!...what a disappointment!! Unfortunately if there was anything positive about the evening it has been clouded by the fact that we did not get our food served to us until 23:45! Apparently there was a fault in the kitchen..not a good enough excuse sorry! The tuna that was pre-ordered we were told was Of the Menu,How? If we pre-order then surely you would have bought enough for ALL the diners that evening? And as for the show...well..it was good...but not as good as we thought it would be! Im wondering if maybe because we we were seated so late that you didnt have enough time for the full show?? Such a shame!"

"Great night, fun show. MC was hilarious, show girls were fantastic.
Would recommend to all - from first date to anniversaries.
Only slight criticism. We were stuck behind 2 large groups in a pre-show drinks queue can be a while to get served as cocktails are the name of the game here."

"Really special night for a birthday. Had a wonderful night with delicious food & wine, though there were a few things that stopped this being truly amazing. The tables were wide - the band's music made it difficult for our group to chat & warm up conversationally before/between acts. The compere lacked real talent, & the show seemed short. I guess two acts per performer meant eight acts, but for the enormous cost I expected something more polished and more of it. The band was great, but we were disappointed they finished & were shunted upstairs for 45 min when we were ready to tear up the dancefloor. By the time we were let back down again we had lost the enthusiasm & were intimidated by the amazing practised dancers & left somewhat cowed."

"All in all it was a immaculately well presented evening, albeit shorter than I would prefere, the show was entertaining and only the price of the cocktails gives any cause for concern - if you go for an occcasion then this should be a well financed venture. Already reccomended to a plethora of people.
Food lush, ambience excellent - music was very vintage and fitting. A night to remember"

"The previous reviews were mixed and borne out by a half-empty restaurant and some mediocre shows - mainly comedy with three burlesque dances lasting one song each. One lady was good, but about 15 minutes max of burlesque over 2 hours was not good value for money. Food was pretty good and you are able to swap dessert for another cocktail if you wish."
